Following the success of the Bengaluru Cyclothon, TI Cycles carried forward their association with the event as the principal partner for India Cyclothon Mumbai 2010. Held on 21st February 2010 at the Bandra Reclamation Ground, the event mobilised around 6000 people accross age groups, from all walks of life, to promote the practice of cycling.
The BSA Hercules India Cyclothon had multiple categories - the 50km Elite ride, the 24km Amateur ride, the 24km Corporate/Group ride, the 12km Green ride and the 2kms Kids ride. The Chief Guests for the event included Mr.A Vellayan, Chairman, Murugappa Group; Mr. Salman Khan, Brand ambssador, India Cyclothon; Cycling Legend Eddie Mercx, 5-time tour de france winner and former world champion; Mr.Chaban Bhujbal, Deputy CM, Maharashtra; Ms.Priya Dutt, MP and Mr.Baba Siddiqui, MLA.
Sports 18 and TI Cycles joined hands with Being Human, the Salamn Khan Foundation, to launch India's first international cycling event, Mumbai Cyclothon Tour De Mumbai, that saw the top 13 professional cycling teams in the world compete. The Indian National Cycling Team participating in the Commonwealth Games was the 4th team. The race was governed by the International Cycling Union (UCI) regulations and was listed under the category 1.2 of the Asia Tour. This was also the first major event to be held across the new landmark of Mumbai, the Rajiv Gandhi Sea link.
